Kinja'd!!!2 Kinja'd!!! 16

I just stumbled across this on one of the froofy design sites I frequent and proceeded to lose my fragile little mind-

http://www.designboom.com/technology/the…

If this comes to completion, the whole goddamn universe might implode.

I, for one, hate it. But I love designboom.

The DS has never done it for me. So this looks like a ruined Porsche to me.

Same here. I took one look and all I could think is "that poor Porsche".

If the case is carbon fiber, I'm inclined to NP.

/Holy shit, a carbon fiber DS would be sweet. I mean a Nintendo one. Though a carbon Citroen DS would be kinda neat. Gah. This is all fucking with my brain something firece.

After posting this, I went to the source site and saw alot of the stuff you pointed out there not making any sense to me either. Honestly, I think a 2.7 flat six would fit fine into the rear of a DS. The "3000cc turbo motor" nonsense was a bridge too far.

I do love the visuals of the "finished" car though, even if they are, in actuality, really good renderings.

Quite a project that would be.

I LOL'd at the "90 degrees horizontal" I wonder which direction they meant. Is the engine now transverse?

Drives me nuts that the thing is all over twitter. They sure are getting a lot of attention today, that's for sure.

Well, they did get me for a time. I at least thought it was a work in progress.

Back to daydreaming about Corvairs with Subaru motors dropped into them...
